To think of it, naming someone a “sinner”, is judging.
“Come out of the closet” and “be yourselves”. Don’t be afraid of “haters” and fight for your “rights”. Who are they to “judge” you? It is the “new norm”. It is the “new age” and we don’t live in “stone age” anymore. We are ‘free” to be “whatever we are” and the “freedom” to do “whatever we want” should be “fought for”.
On the surface, it does sound harmless. Yeah, why not let everyone do whatever they want to do. Why stop them and dictate their lives or restrict their desires and needs? Who determine what is morally right and what is wrong? Why can’t we let it be, let it be, let it be? Whisper words of wisdom, let it be, let it be.
Fight for the rights of the usage of cannabis. Well, some countries are letting it be. Make it legal and let users consume it however they wish to. The rights to end someone’s life? Hey, google it up and yes assisted suicide is legal in some states of a country. Not surprised to see more of it elsewhere too. The list of “rights to do” something will go on and on.
“Going against the grain”, “swim upstream”, “breaking the norm” or simply rebel and do not go with nature. The devil does just that. Go against the instructions of The Creator and oppose the truth. What is even worse, is when the devil influences others to defy The Almighty and go for the forbidden. After all, why be obedient and follow rules? The devil seems “fine being a rebel”. So, following the devil seems cooler than being filial to The Maker of all beings.
Islam first came to this world being the minority. While it was a practice to kill babies, Islam put to a stop to it. While it was a thing back then to have unlimited number of concubines and mistresses, Islam limited man to marry to only up to 4 wives. Islam stopped the evil and unjust practices and replaced it all with good morale and good values of characters, ethics and conducts. Even towards animals and plants, Islam taught the mankind to be good caretakers of the Earth.
While it might seem absurd that vegans are fighting for the rights of animals, they perhaps missed out the rights of plants and trees too. The ecosystem is such that, the life cycle of animals, the food chain and nature of how creations were created have their roles and parts in this world. The Almighty created it all with His wisdoms and it is something that we should ponder about. Many things are beyond comprehension but that do not mean we should recreate rules and ideas, thinking that we know how to rule the Earth.
Our teeth are designed to chew not just plants but also meat. Unlike herbivores or carnivores, we have omnivores set of teeth which logically shows that we were created to be able to consume meat and plants. Our male and female genitals too, clearly show that we were made in pairs, a male and female, for us to consummate with the opposite gender. Well, it is natural.
Desires, imaginations and lust can go wild and unruly. Knocking some sense into our head is key. We should learn to control our crazy ideas and think rationally. The Al-Quran is not just meant for the believers of Islam, but it is a guide, for all mankind. Read, study, discuss and debate if you wish to. Compare with any other sacred and holy books and judge for yourselves to what the actual guidance to life is. No one is judging anyone. We should be able to judge ourselves. Only the smartest would want to know the real truth.
