No matter how far you go, there will others who have attained what you been dreaming off. Probably the nice car that you’ve been seeing in the ads is something you wish you had, might be bad for you rather than what you think. It could probably be, you need a fortune to maintain it such as the workshop fees and high fuel prices. Then you will realise, all good things come with a big price tag and other crazy cost.
Even getting a PHD wouldn’t promise you a good life as what most might suggest. I would rather study voluntarily than to be forced into an academic system and to go through motions just to achieve a certain title and papers. If you are consistently studying, you will realise there is no graduation to announce your completion of being a student. Which means that, you have completed studying. Then probably you would become a teacher and teach. Most likely you would have the mindset that, “I am knowledgeable and my students are not”.
There is nothing unique about getting a degree because there are so many who have university degrees yet not practicing what they have graduated from. Do know that success is not something you can show on a piece of paper, but rather something that could last eternity. Being a head of a department too doesn’t necessarily means that you are happy and free from worries or hardship. Momentarily, the celebration of graduation, getting a job, having a house and family too, would simply means the start of new chapters of challenges and trials.
Heaven is not a place on earth. Definitely, nothing compares to the real paradise. A place for eternity. No sadness. No tears. No memories of hardship. No pain. Just gain. That would be the true point of our lives to say that we have achieved success. The true happiness is not in this world. Nothing here in this world would last. Not sadness or happiness. True success will not bring hardship or sadness. So what are we actually trying to achieve in life?
